Ayazuddin died after a six day long struggle
HYDERABAD: A former Indian cricket captain Moradabad Congress MP Mohammad Azharuddin’s son Ayazuddin, died in hospital today six days after he was seriously injured in an accident with his high-end sports bike.
19-year-old Ayaz was on ventilator support since six days. Yesterday after heavy internal bleeding his brain became dysfunctional. One of his kidneys was also removed through surgery,” Apollo Hospital’s CEO Hari Prasad said.
He said, “He died at 11.51am due to hypoxic encephalopathy (a condition when there is not enough oxygen getting into the brain).”
On September 11, Ayazuddin a budding cricketer, met with the road accident on the Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad when his sports bike skidded.
In the same accident his cousin Azmal died within an hour of the accident and Ayazuddin was admitted to the ICU of Apollo Hospital in an “extremely critical condition.”
