Jaipur Police raided the call center of the online gaming app on Friday evening. 12 miscreants who were running illegal betting have been arrested. DCP (East) Gyanchandra Yadav told- On Friday evening, SHO (Pratap Nagar) Manvendra Singh received information from the informer that a call center is running in a double floor house in Sector-26 Pratap Nagar. Illegal betting is being done under the guise of a call center. On information, the police team raided the call center running in the house.

DCP (East) Gyanchandra Yadav told – Through the online gaming app Sky Exchange, online betting was done on all the games. After downloading the app, a user ID and password was issued. Online betting was fed by getting screenshots of the amount on WhatsApp groups. The more money that was put on the satta app, the more points were added to their ID. Through points, betting was done for win-loss in Cricket, Ludo, Casino, Teen Patti and other online gaming. Money was being cheated by making the youth addicted through the app.

This call center was being run by a person named Akhilesh, a resident of Mandawa Jhunjhunu. It was he who had kept the youth on salary. He used to hale the call center once in 5-6 days. This call center used to run in 24×7 timing and worked in shifts. Accounts for taking money have been opened in the names of different persons. When the amount of fraud was deposited in the account, it was withdrawn through ATM. The SIM installed in 5 mobiles recovered from the possession of the accused has also been found to have fraudulently transacted in the name of other persons. In the last 6 months, transactions worth crores of rupees have come to the fore in these accounts. The police have got the bank accounts debit freezed.
