CBI Frees Two Held with Aarushi Phone

The CBI has released a brother-sister duo, whom it detained for questioning in the murder case of Noida schoolgirl Aarushi Talwar, after her missing cell phone, a black Nokia N-72, was recovered from them.

Ramphool and his sister Kusum were detained and interrogated by the CBI on Tuesday to recreate the journey of the phone from Noida to Bulandshahr, where it was recovered by the Delhi Police on Saturday, official sources said.

Aarushi and her domestic help Hemraj were found killed at her Noida residence 16 months ago.

The CBI has sent the phone for forensic analysis.
