Chidambaram Confirms Headley’s Links to Pak, LeT
Indicating an ‘obvious Pakistan link’ to David Coleman Headley, Home Minister P Chidambaram has said that at least two persons were arrested in Pakistan following an advice from Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Headley was recently nabbed by the American agency for plotting a major attack in India at terror group LeT’s behest.
“There is a Pakistan link. Dave Headley visited Pakistan a number of times and I think on the advice of the FBI, two or perhaps more people have been arrested in Pakistan,” the minister told media persons in Hyderabad.
He made this statement in response to a question if there was any input on Pakistani link to the plot to attack the prestigious National Defence College in New Delhi in which Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana were arrested by FBI.
