Chintan Baithak: Rajnath Rubbishes Reports of Poll Analysis

Rubbishing media reports, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh on Thursday stressed that the party had prepared no document on election results or discussed any such report at its ongoing conclave in Shimla.

“No document on the election analysis was prepared by the party and presented before the chintan baithak. The document referred to in sections of the media is totally imaginary,” Singh said in a press statement.

The statement was issued after media reports suggested that the ‘chintan baithak’ had taken up for discussions an internal report prepared on reasons behind poor performance of the party in the Lok Sabha elections earlier this year.
