Congressmen protest across Madhya Pradesh disqualification of Rahul Gandhi as Parliamentary Member
The Parliament membership of former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi was canceled on Friday. After which Congress workers took to the streets and demonstrated in entire Madhya Pradesh. Congressmen stopped the train in Bhopal. PM Modi’s effigy burnt in Indore. Apart from Gwalior, Jabalpur, Dewas, Ashoknagar, Ganjbasoda, Congressmen protested against the decision in many other cities of the state.
In fact, after being sentenced to two years in a defamation case, the membership of Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad, Kerala, Rahul was nullified. Anger is being seen among Congressmen across the country regarding this. In 2019, Rahul had given a statement regarding the Modi surname in the assembly of Karnataka. More than 50 Congressmen reached Rani Kamlapati railway station in Bhopal at around 5:30 pm on Friday evening and stopped the train going towards Jabalpur on platform number five here. They created ruckus for about 15 minutes. Many leaders including State Youth Congress President Vikant Bhuria climbed on top of the engine. These people also raised slogans here. The police arrived and chased away the Congressmen. After this late evening NSUI workers took out a torch rally.

The CM laid the foundation stone of Government Medical College and Gandhi Sagar Water Supply Project-2 here. Along with this, the new agricultural produce market complex Dunglavda was also inaugurated. Government Medical College building is being constructed on 9.745 hectares of land near Kanavati at a cost of 255.78 crores.
