Delhi-Howrah Janta Express Looted in Patna on Rail Budget Day

On the day when Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee presented rail budget and talked about railway safety, the Delhi-Howrah Janta Express (3039) train was looted near Jamui in Bihar, said media reports.

According to reports, eight armed robbers looted Train No. 3039 between Lakhisarai and Mankattha railway stations in Bihar on Wednesday.

Robbers snatched valuables worth Rs 1.5 lakh cash and luggage from passengers at about 4:30 am today, reports said.

A case has been registered at the Mokameh Railway Police Station.
