Divers Scouring Tandava Reservoir for Survivors

A team of seven Navy divers is searching for survivors in the Tandava reservoir of Andhra Pradesh where a country-made boat capsized with 14 villagers on-board on Sunday.

Those traveling in the boat were on their way back after worshipping a local deity at the time of the accident.

While two people swam to safety after the boat capsized, the bodies of two girls were later fished out.

Searches are underway to locate the remaining 10 people, most of them children aged between 10-12.
