Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every youth in the state will be provided employment according to his ability.
Employment opportunities will be made available to every youth through government recruitment, self-employment and learn and earn scheme. Under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Kaushal Earning Scheme, youth will be given training in various professions as well as an honorarium of Rs 8,000 per month. By August 15, the recruitment process for 1 lakh government posts will be completed. Under the Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, loans and grants ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 50 lakh are being made available to the youth for employment. Today, Employment Day is being celebrated in every district of the state and loans are being distributed to the youth for self-employment.
Chief Minister Chouhan participated in the State Level Employment Day program in Neemuch today. He distributed loans worth Rs 2779 crore to 2 lakh 31 thousand 760 youth under various self-employment schemes. The Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development works. In this, the foundation stone of Neemuch’s new medical college and Gandhi Sagar-2 group drinking water supply project and the inauguration of new market complex Dunglavda Changera are included.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that there used to be discrimination against women in Madhya Pradesh. Earlier, 900 girls were born for every 1000 boys. I took a pledge that discrimination against daughters will be ended on the land of Madhya Pradesh and they will be made a boon. Ladli Laxmi Yojana was started in the state. Today there are 44 lakh 50 thousand Ladli Lakshmi in the state. 956 daughters are being born
The government will itself pay the amount of interest of the defaulter farmers and crop loans will be made available to them at zero percent interest. For this, a provision of Rs 2500 crore has been made in the budget. The date for repayment of crop loan will be extended till March 31.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that a scheme worth Rs 1700 crore has been approved by the government for the area, through which water will be supplied to every house through taps. Today, the foundation stone of development works worth crores has been laid and inaugurated for the Neemuch region. He said that the name of Neemuch Medical College would be Virendra Kumar Saklecha Medical College. Similarly, Mandsaur Medical College will be renamed as Shri Sunderlal Patwa Medical College and Ratlam Medical College as Dr. Laxmi Narayan Pandey Medical College.
