Former Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat No More

Two days after being admitted following complaint of uneasiness and breathing problems, former Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat on Saturday passed away in a Jaipur Hospital, said media reports.

Dr Narpat Singh, Superintendent of Swai Man Singh Hospital, said that Shekhawat, 87, breathed his last at 11.10 am, reports said.

Another doctor at the hospital Dr Ashok Pangaria said that his condition deteriorated in the morning and he was put on ventilator, said reports.

The former Vice-President was admitted to the ICU of the SMS hospital on the night of May 13 and doctors had said he was suffering from lung and chest infection.
