Girls Outshine Boys as 79.87% Students Pass in CBSE Class 12 Exams
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced class 12 results today in which almost 80 per cent of more than seven lakh students passed, with girls once again outshining the boys, said media reports.
In a release, the board said that 79.87 per cent students passed the board exam held by CBSE and the pass percentage for the girls is 82.22 as against 75.90 of boys, reports said.
A total number of 7,00,983 candidates were registered for Class XII examination from 6,035 schools this year.
However, this year’s pass percentage witnessed a dip from last year’s 81 per cent.
