I’ll not interfere in Arjun’s career : Sachin
Ahmedabad: India’s legendry batsman Sachin Tendulkar on Friday said that he does not want to interfere in son Arjun’s career.
Speaking at a press conference, the little master revealed that he has given full freedom to his son as far as his career is concerned. “I don’t want to intervene in his career. I want to leave him alone to enjoy life and cricket,” he added.
Sachin was in Ahmedabad for promoting a golf tournament and coincidently, his son Arjun was also in the city where the U-14 Mumbai XI is playing Gujarat in the West Zone League. However, Tendulkar didn’t visit his son.
Sachin is exceptionally happy for his son Arjun Tendulkar’s selection in Mumbai’s under-14 Team but the legend also fears that the budding cricketer will not be treated like ordinary players.
This might be the reason the father earlier requested fans to treat Arjun just like an ‘ordinary’ cricketer.
