VISHAKHAPATNAM: In a thrilling tie Mumbai Indians defeated Deccan charges on the last ball of the game. Mumbai required 3 runs to win on the last ball which Rohit swings wildly and sails it over the point boundary for a six. The last three balls changed the entire complexion of the match. Rohit Sharma played a cracker of an innings with his 50 ball 73.
The entire Mumbai innings revolves around Rohit with Rayadu and Pollard supporting well. Steyn bowled beautifully with the bowling analysis of 4-1-12-3.Mumbai chasing a target of 139 does not started well and lost two wickets early with scoreboard just showing 10 runs in 4 overs.
Earlier, Deccan chargers won the toss and elected to bat. They also lost two early wickets with just 9 runs on the score board.
After that Dhawan (41) and Christian (39) contributed well. White played a cameo with scoring 30 runs in just 22 balls and help the chargers to reach a competitive total of 138 runs. Munaf bowled beautifully and took 4 wickets after giving just 20 runs.

Harbhajan: “We were right under the target. We knew that the boundaries were short and later on the bowlers would be under pressure. We have got the batsmen who can clear any boundaries. We should have finished it a little earlier.”
Rohit Sharma: “The idea was to stay calm. That is what I have been doing for India. When Franklin came in, we needed 19 runs in the last over. I knew we could do it in the end.
