With no abatement in crimes against young kids, former Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Friday sought the establishment of a Special Task Force to combat the menace.
Nath was speaking to the media a day after the remains of a five year old girl were recovered from a locked house not far from where she had gone missing some 72 hours ago.
The girl had been raped and stragulated before her decomposing body was dumped into a water tank in a house where the accused lived with his mother and trio.
Medical examination reports confirmed that the girl had been raped before being killed. Police have arrested the main accused Atul and remanded him to judicial custody.
The accused’s mother and sister had also been detained by the Shahjahanad police who are investigating the matter.
Bringing up a series of heinous crimes involving kids, Nath said that the establishment of the STF would bring the situation under control.
The Mahakaushal leader was responding to a recent spate of sexual assault incidents in various parts of the Madhya Pradesh.
