Orissa IAS Officer Found Dead with Family in Native Village
A senior IAS officer, Jagadananda Panda, along with four of his family members, has been found dead under mysterious circumstances in Bargarh district of Orissa.
According to report, the incidence took place at around 0200 hours IST at Panda’s residence in Deogaon village, Bargarh.
Exanimation reveals that all the victims had bullet injuries on their head. Besides, Panda, the four other victims include his wife, father and two of his sisters. A service revolver was also found near the body of Panda.
The dead bodies have been taken to the VSS Medical College and Hospital at Burla.
Panda, who was posted in New Delhi on deputation in the Overseas Affairs Ministry, had come to his village two days ago.
A few days ago, the CBI had reportedly raided Panda’s Delhi office.
