Pak Violates Ceasefire, Jawan Injured
Yet again violating the ceasefire, Pakistani troops using LMGs and MMGs opened fire on an Indian border post in the Kripan post in the Mendhar sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.
An Indian soldier, Om Bahadur, was injured in the incident that lasted for nearly an hour between 0930 and 1030 hours on Sunday.
The firing from the Pakistani side ceased after retaliation by the Indian forces.
On September 21, Pakistani troops had fired nearly 135 rounds on Indian positions in the district.
