Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with his family participated in Guru Purnima Mahotsav and Shrimad Bhagwat Katha held in the presence of Pandit Dev Prabhakar Shastri Daddaji at Indore yesterday. He listened to Katha and performed worship of Vyas Peeth with family.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that goal of human life is to attain God and salvation. One should follow the path of devotion, knowledge and karma to achieve this goal. Inspiration for path of devotion can be drawn from Mira and Shri Hanuman Ji. A person should discharge his responsibilities selflessly and honestly, he added.
The Chief Minister along with Urban Administration & Development Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya sang “Ram Bhajan Bada Sukhdayi, Japo Re Mere Bhai, Yeh Jeewan Do Din Ka”. Pujya Shri Daddaji underlined importance of God. He said that people should follow path of virtue. Shun egoism and understand essence of Dharma and Karma. As many as 7.50 crore Shiv Lingas were made during the Mahotsav in 3 days.
Shri Arvind Menon, former Minister Shri Ajay Vishnoi, MLAs Shri Ramesh Mendola and Shri Kailash Sharma, other public representatives and large number of devotees were present on the occasion.
Later, the Chief Minister paid a courtesy visit to spiritual Guru Shri Bhayyuji Maharaj at his residence.
