Pravin Mahajan Granted 14-day Parole

For the first time after his arrest on April 23, 2006, Pravin Mahajan, brother of later BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, has been given a 14-day parole.

It may be mentioned that Pravin, convicted for killing his elder brother Pramod at his Worli residence on April 22, 2006, was sentenced to life imprisonment and is serving the term in Nasik Central Jail.

Pramod Mahajan died after battling for his life for 12 days.

Pravin has been given a 14-day parole, usually given to prisoners after they complete a certain time and for good behaviour.
