New Delhi: Home Minister, Rajnath Singh, on Wednesday emphasised on the strengthening of civil defence organisation in an effort to avert any natural disaster in future.
During the conference, Singh said efforts should be made to make civil defence organisation more efficient.
Meanwhile, Rajnath Singh also assured to fix the problem of scarcity of essential resources.
Rajnath Singh said, “I feel that there is a need to strengthen and make the civil defence organisation more effective which should instil a sense of confidence in place of fear during any natural disaster or any other type of disaster.”
He further said, “I know that resources are limited and there are many problems to strengthen the civil defence organisation and to make it effective. But I assure that I will discuss it with the ministry and if necessary I will also talk to finance ministry and request for more resources.”
