Royals continues their winning run
JAIPUR: Rajasthan Royals continued their winning run by defeating Deccan Chargers in a closely fought encounter here in Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.
Rajasthan chased very well huge target. They got a good start of 62 runs with Rahane playing yet another good innings.
Rahul also played well and made 42 runs in just 24 balls. Menaria and Shah maintained the run rate under control while finishing task is performed by Hodge. Hodge made 48 runs in just 21 balls.
Royals need 25 runs in last two overs but they made it easily with some splendid batting from Hodge. Mishra took 3 wickets.
Earlier, Chargers chose to bat after winning the toss. Chargers made a splendid start with their openeors adding 94 runs in just 10 overs. Sangakkara made 42 while Dhawan made 52 runs. After that Christian and Duminy played excellent cricket and took the total to a very comfortable 196 runs. Duminy made 58 runs in just 26 balls.
