Sadbhavna Yatra from Kashmir to Madhya Pradesh
BHOPAL (MPINFO): Students of the schools run by Jammu-Kashmir government who are on a Sadbhavna Yatra here, called on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday.
Welcoming the students at his residence, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh said that ‘bhinn hai bhasha, bhinn hai desh, phir bhi apna ek hai desh’ (Languages are different, attires are different, despite this our country is one). Students should make their Sadbhavna Yatra meaningful by taking this spirit to the masses.
Chouhan said that India is a vast country. Besides being number two in population, India is among largest countries area-wise also. He said that the experiences during the Sadbhavna Yatra will prove to be very useful in the life. It will bring about maturity in the thoughts and behaviour.
CM said that life becomes meaningful by helping others. Efforts should be undertaken with the resolve and devotion for the betterment of the state, nation and society. During the meeting, class X student Rahul Sharma presented a memento to Chief Minister Chouhan on behalf of Krishna Ghati Brigade of Indian Army.
Mahar Regiment’s Major Kapil Mohan informed that the objective of Krishna Ghati Brigade is to introduce rural children with historical heritages and progress of India.
The study team comprises 23 students of class IX and X students studying in five schools situated at villages Jhalas, Salotri, Ghani, Dara Duniya and Krishna Ghati in Poonch district of Jammu-Kashmir. The study team was flagged off from Jhalas on January 10 by Brigadier Sunil Yadav.
The team has arrived at Bhopal after visiting historical places and centres of Army and Air Force at Agra and Gwalior. The team will return to Poonch from Bhopal. He informed that Krishna Ghati Brigade is a unique initiative for introducing children of remote areas with development.
