Sanjay Dutt to make paper files in Yarwada jail
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, currently lodged in Yerawada jail after being convicted in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, have been assigned by jail authorities to make paper files and do paper-binding.
Dutt, who also made baskets under supervision of an instructor, was paid Rs 12.50 per day, equivalent to the wages paid to an unskilled worker in a jail. This time, he is likely to be paid Rs 25 to Rs 40 as his daily wage on the completion of the assigned job.
According to the jail authorities, inmates are also rewarded with a remission in punishment on the basis of their good work and good conduct.
