Shah said- terrorism increased in National Conference-Congress governments: They want to bring 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, we will bury terrorism in the abyss

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. He is scheduled to address three meetings here. He addressed his first rally in Nagseni in Paddar.

He said, ‘The alliance of National Conference and Congress has been a promoter of terrorism. Whenever NC-Congress government has come to power in the valley, terrorism has been encouraged here.’

Shah said that both the parties say that if their government comes, they will re-implement Article 370. Should Article 370 be brought back? Article 370 has now become a part of history.

There is no place for Article 370 in the Constitution of India. There can never be two Prime Ministers, two constitutions and two flags in Kashmir. There will be only one flag and that is our tricolor.

We saw the days of partition, saw the days of terrorism in 1990, be it Chandrika Sharma or Parihar brothers… everyone made sacrifices. Today I promise to the people of Jammu and Kashmir including this region that we will bury terrorism so deep that it will never come out.

NC and Congress want to end reservation: Shah said that on one hand National Conference and Congress want to create terror-ridden Jammu and Kashmir, while on the other hand Modi Ji wants to create a developed Kashmir.

After the removal of Article 370, the reservation that women got here, the National Conference and Congress want to end it. On the other hand, Modi ji wants to give reservation rights to Gujjars, Paharis, Dalits and OBCs along with women.

The reservation that the Pahadi and Gujjar brothers get, they will not get it if Article 370 is restored, but I am watching the atmosphere in Kashmir. Neither Farooq Abdullah nor Rahul Gandhi are forming the government here.

Home Minister said- Modi ended dynasty in Kashmir Modi ji has ended dynasty in the valley. Panchayat elections gave local and capable people a chance to take decisions at the ground level. Remember the 90s, I want to ask Farooq Abdullah that you were the Chief Minister here, you were elected after making a compromise with Rajiv Gandhi. When our valley was soaked in blood, where were you?

Shah had said – Article 370 has become history. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while releasing the manifesto on September 6, had said, “Jammu and Kashmir is, was and will remain part of India. In the last 10 years, the state has developed and is developing. Today, Article 370 and 35 (A) have become a thing of the past. Now it is not a part of our Constitution. All this happened due to the powerful decision of PM Narendra Modi. Article 370 has become history. We will never let it come back.”

Meetings will also be held in Kishtwar and Ramban. After Paddar Nagseni, Shah’s second public meeting will be in Kishtwar and the third public meeting will be in Ramban. Voting for the first phase of assembly elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir on September 18. In such a situation, this is the last day of election campaign for the first phase.

The last assembly elections were held in 2014. The last assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir were held in 2014. Then BJP and PDP had formed a coalition government. The government fell after the coalition broke in 2018. After this, Governor’s rule (according to the Jammu and Kashmir Constitution at that time) remained in the state for 6 months. After this, President’s rule came into force.

The 2019 Lok Sabha elections were held during the President’s rule, in which the BJP returned to power at the Centre with a huge majority.
