‘Speedbreaker Didi’ has lost her sleep after two phases of Lok Sabha polls in West Bengal, says PM Modi
New Delhi: In one of the sharpest attacks against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in recent times, Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the CM for inviting Bangladeshi actors to campaign for her party Trinamool Congress and said that she did this to appease her vote bank.
Referring to Mamata Banerjee as “speed breaker Didi” PM Modi further said that the CM will learn after May 23 what are the consequences of the vandalism, looting of money, and choking the public’s growth.
Has this ever happened before that a foreigner came to India to campaign for any political party? Didi can go to any extent to appease the minority community and the presence of two actors from the neighbouring country is a testimony to this fact,” said PM Modi.
Speaking on the murder of a BJP worker in Purulia, the PM assured party workers and the people of the state that justice will be done and strict action will be taken against people who carried out the crime.
Speed-breaker Didi in the name of “Maa-maati-manush” has only cheated the people of West Bengal and now she is losing her sleep after the first two phases of Lok Sabha polls in the state, the PM stated.
Attacking the CM for questioning the security forces after Balakot airstrikes in Pakistan the PM said that Didi was the one who had asked for the proof and added that if she really wants to seek evidence then she should find proof for those involved in chit fund scam.
Urging the voters of West Bengal to apply brakes on Speed-breaker Didi’s rule the PM said that the politics of threat, loot and corruption must come to an end.
“Don’t you want this politics of threat, loot and corruption to end? Then come out from every household in every village, town, nook and corner and give the Trinamool a befitting reply for unleashing a rule of terror. Rise up Bengal give your response on May 23,” Modi said addressing a rally here.
Saying that Bengal is with the BJP the PM claimed that the bullying of Trinamool Party will not prevent its massive defeat in the state.
Earlier, the PM had said that the state was witnessing violence similar to what was seen in Kashmir in the eighties against Kashmiri Pandits and added that the situation should be taken seriously.
