Top Maoist Leader in Disguise for 25 Years Seen
Ganpati, a top Maoist leader who has been in disguise for 25 years, has been caught on camera lately for the first time while he was addressing cadres in Andhra.
Muppala Laxman Rao, better known as Ganpati, is one of India’s most wanted Maoist rebel.
Ganpati, who is the General Secretary of the banned CPI Maoist, was hiding for over 25 years.
In the video, Ganpati is seen addressing Maoist cadres at an undisclosed location at Dandakaranya region.
Ganpati, hailing from Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh, is one of the founding members of the terror outfit.
Security analysts feel that after the arrest of Maoist ideologue Kobad Ghandy, the other leaders like Kishanji and Ganpati are coming out in public platforms.
