Train services disrupted between Delhi- Kanpur

NEW DELHI: Kanpur and Delhi train services have been completely disrupted Thursday morning after overhead wires snapped near Shikohabad Railway Station in UP.

Spokesperson of railway informed that the services came to a halt since 7:30 AM as the overhead wires broke after a high tension cable running above snapped and fell on it.

The Rajdhani Express and several other trains from Howrah and Patna have been held up mid-way, the spokesperson said, adding, work was in progress to repair the wires.

Fog has crippled train services in parts of north India, leading to several cancellations since the last fortnight.
