Two Armymen Killed by Colleagues in Manipur
Two Junior Commissioned Officers of 12th Maratha Rifles have been allegedly shot dead by their colleagues in Manipur’s interior Churachandpur district, said media reports.
According to reports, the incident took place last evening at Khengjang camp near power station under Churachandpur police station.
Though the motive behind the crime is still not known, some unconfirmed reports said that that the JCOs and riflemen engaged in a quarrel, reports said.
Quoting unnamed sources, reports said that the army personnel, whose headquarters was located at Khugadam area, a few kms away, were posted at Khengjang post.
Officials have still not revealed the names of the victims though post mortem has been conducted on them, said reports.
