Two Security Personnel Killed in Militant Strike in Srinagar

Two security personnel were killed in two separate militant strikes in the heart of Srinagar as unidentified gunmen shot three CRPF personnel at close range, injuring all 3. One of them died later.

According to report, the attack took place at Srinagar’s residency road near Regal chowk, just 50 metres away from where a Congress workers’ convention was to take place.

Militants struck for the second time in Batamaloo in Srinagar, outside the fire service headquarters. One policeman was killed in the attack.
