Will Gold Breach 80k Mark this Diwali
The yellow metal has been bullish in the run up to the festival

Gold Rate Today 22 and 24 Carat: On October 18, gold prices in India were around Rs 77,000 per 10 grams. The price of 24-carat gold, known for its highest purity, stood at Rs 78,120 per 10 grams. For jewellery buyers, 22-carat gold, which is more durable due to its alloy composition, was priced at Rs 71,610 per 10 grams.
Silver, on the day, was trading at Rs 96,900 per kilogram.
With the festival and wedding seasons looming, buyers are left wondering if the price of the precious yellow metal will breach the Rs 80,000 mark this year.
