Atishi sitting amidst the stuff taken out from CM residence: signed the file; LG office said- Bungalow number 6 in Delhi is not the CM’s house

A day after being evicted from the Delhi CM residence, Atishi was seen doing CM office work in her private residence. A video of this was also shared by the Delhi Chief Minister’s Office. In this, Atishi can be seen sitting among the items removed from the CM residence. During this, she also signed a file.

The controversy over the CM residence escalated when on October 9, PWD sealed Bungalow No. 6 on Flagstaff Road in Civil Lines. CM Atishi came to live in this bungalow on October 7. Three days later, she was asked to vacate the bungalow.

According to Delhi LG office, this bungalow is not the CM’s house and can be allotted to anyone. Atishi had occupied this bungalow illegally. If someone encroaches on our property, the owner is entitled to take action.

PWD took the house keys from Atishi, AAP alleges – threw out the stuff PWD officials came to CM residence on 9 October at 11-11:30 am. According to them, rules were not followed in handing over the house. Atishi had the keys of this house, but she was not given official documents of house allotment. Officials took the keys of the house by afternoon.

Regarding this, the CM office said, ‘For the first time in history, a Chief Minister has been asked to vacate his house. LG forcibly removed CM Atishi’s belongings from the house at the behest of BJP. Preparations are being made to give this CM residence to some big BJP leader. BJP has been out of power in Delhi for 27 years, now it wants to grab the CM residence.’
