Milk to be served in primary schools and anganwadis from July 15
Bhopal: Necessary directives have been given to all district collectors to start preparations for serving milk to children of anganwadis and primary schools now from July 15 instead of July 1.
In a letter, Director Mid-day Meal Programme Council Shri Vibhash Kumar Thakur has informed district collectors that Madhya Pradesh Dairy Federation will provide milk powder at development block level on July 10 for distribution in anganwadis and primary schools.
According to the circular, CEOs of Janpad Panchayats will ensure transportation of milk powder through coordination with Dairy Federation. If any difficulty is experienced in it, then arrangements for transportation of milk powder from Janpad level to schools can be made by inviting tenders as per THR of Women and Child development Department.
