MP Govt Sacks 45 Transport Employees
Directives in wake of SC orders in Vyapam case

Following a Supreme Court order on the Vyapam case, the Madhya Pradesh government has issued directives for the annulment of services of 45 transport department employees.
An order issued by Transport Secretary C.B. Chakraborty directs the transport commissioner to cancel the appointments of the 45 employees who were allegedly recruited in the Vyapam scam of 2012.
The appointments were challenged in court, and after prolonged hearings, the Supreme Court deemed them illegal in rulings from August 2023 and April 2024, instructing the government to annul them.
