Now compensation for all cattle heads killed in natural calamity

Bhopal: State Government has decided to provide relief against death of all cattle heads of an owner due to natural calamities like cold wave, hailstorm etc. Earlier, there was provision for only one cattle head of a family due to death in natural calamity. For example, if a family’s 4 buffaloes and two hens died, compensation against only one cattle head was payable earlier. Now, compensation against all dead animals and birds (hen, cock) will be provided if claimed by affected family. Revenue Department has issued an order to this effect.

Earlier provision: Earlier, there was provision in Revenue Book of Circulars to provide assistance to an affected family against one big milch cattle or 4 small milch cattle or 1 big draught cattle or 2 small draught cattle.
