NRI Offers To Take Care of Rubina’s Education

Moved with media reports that Slumdog Millionaire kid Rubina Ali’s father attempted to sell his daughter to an Arabian for 200000 pounds, an NRI businessman has shown willingness to bale out the poverty-stricken family, offering to take care of Rubina’s educational responsibilities.

 A R Vanoo, an NRI based in Doha, Qatar, will take care of Rubina’s education upto Master’s or even doctorate level provided she is keen on study. Moreover, he is prepared to admit her to any school in any part of the world, even  including IB (International Baccalaureate) School known for high school fees.

The Good Samaritan said that he has not watched Slumdog Millionaire but was moved with recent media reports of a father trying to sell her daughter. He added that he could not see her suffer so much and that’s why met Rubina’s family and offered help.

It should be mentioned that Vanoo, who runs petrochemicals, oil and gas exports business, has been working for several years with Anjuman-Ittehad-Ul-Mushtaqeem, an NGO that works to educate people in rural areas. He proposed to despatch money for Rubina’s education through this NGO.
