Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has welcomed the approach of separatist outfits to take part in dialogue process and resolve state-centric political issues across the table. Besides, he has also spoken out against the central government’s decision to ban prepaid mobile services in the state.

“This is a welcome change and in the larger interest of people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Abdullah said.

He said that a change seems in their stand with their willingness to talk at the same forum with other political parties to find a solution.

In response to a query if would favour dissolution of state Assembly  for seeking fresh mandate in view of separatists’ intentions to engage in talks, the chief minister said that neither he thinks that talks had come to this level nor does he have mandate to talk on the issue.
