108 temporary posts sanctioned for IT Capacity Building centres

Bhopal. A meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today sanctioned 108 posts for training coordination units being set up under e-Daksh programme of MAP_IT and IT capacity building centres. Posts are on contract basis for 2 years.

Regional capacity building centres (e-Daksh) have been set up at 15 district headquarters for capacity building state government’s IT officers and employees. In view of project’s utility, it is being implemented in remaining 35 districts as IT capacity building centres.

The cabinet sanctioned payment of 5th Pay Scale and arrears to teachers/employees of educational institutions/Balwadis aided by Scheduled Castes Welfare Department with effect from January 1, 1996 in 5 annual installments.

The cabinet decided to rationalize hostels and ashrams conducted by Scheduled Castes Welfare Department and revise rates of stipends given to their students. As a result of this decision, 165 ashram shalas will be upgraded to junior hostels from next academic session. Senior hostels will be conducted for students of class IX to XII.

The cabinet decided to provide stipend to all post-graduate students taking admission in government/autonomous medical colleges as “in-service candidates”. The students not getting salary/honorarium from any sources during period of studies will be paid stipend during PG course like other admitted students. It was also decided that bonds worth Rs. 30 lakh and Rs. 20 lakh, respectively for 5 years mandatory government service in tribal areas will be got singed by in-service PG candidates and 3 years by degree course students.

The cabinet decided to abolish toll-tax recovery on total 32 bridges under Bridge Division of PWD from April 1, 2016. These are the bridges on which government is receiving less than Rs. 10 lakh revenue as toll tax.

The cabinet accorded administrative sanction of estimated Rs.97 crore 81 lakh cost of Ratlam-Bajna road in Ratlam district under MDR project.

The cabinet decided to allot government land measuring 28.356 hectares under 13 Qita-Raqba by realizing premium as per collector guideline for current financial year and lease rent accruing on it in villages Kyontar and Padaur under Jaithari tahasil falling in submergence area of barrage on Son river for water supply to thermal power plant of Messrs MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Limited. The project’s capacity is of 2520 mw.
