1231 new Anganwadi’s to open in state

Bhopal : A state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today decided to open 1231 new Anganwadi centres in the state. Staff for running new Anganwadi centres for financial proposals were also sanctioned. The cabinet decided to fill up 13 posts of Assistant Director and 42 posts of Child Development Project Officer with direct recruitment through Public Service Commission. It was also decided to give one-time relaxation of two years out of five years of mandatory service on the post of feeder cadre Assistant Director for filling up 37 vacant posts of Deputy Director/District Programme Officer under Woman & Child Development Department.

Levy policy abolished : The cabinet decided to abolish levy policy prescribed by Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department with immediate effects. Now, milling process will be undertaken at market rate taking paddy without recovering levy through procurement during Kharif season or from surplus and paddy procured in the state. The cabinet also sanctioned to extend deadline for paddy milling from June 30, 2012 to January 31, 2013. Milling rate will be fixed through transparent tender process.

Upgradation of veterinary dispensaries to veterinary hospitals endorsed : The cabinet endorsed the decision to upgrade veterinary dispensaries to veterinary hospitals by merging Livestock Extension Programme into Intensive Livestock Development Project under the 12th Five-year Plan. Scheme for establishing new veterinary dispensaries will be executed and mobile veterinary units in tribal development block will be run on contract basis as parts of Livestock Medical Services Extension. It has also been decided to continue extension of dairy development activities’ extension and development scheme, Acharya Vidyasagar Gau-Samvardhan Karyakram and Dairy Estate Establishment Scheme as parts of Dairy Development Programme. The cabinet also decided for renewal and strengthening of Animal Health and Organic Products Institute, Mhow during the 12th Five-Year Plan.

Other important decisions : The cabinet decided to extend the term of Enquiry Commission constituted to go into fake sale deeds and rehabilitation site irregularities in Sardar Sarovar Project for six month. The Enquiry Commission term has been extended from October 9, 2012 to April 8, 2013.

Besides, it was also decided to provide various post-retirement facilities to retired judges of High Court. Now, such retired judges will be given Rs. 6000 per month secretariat allowance, Rs. 4,000 per month orderly allowance and Rs. 1,000 per month telephone allowance each.

On the recommendation of Project Examination Committee, the cabinet sanctioned requisite funds for schemes of Tourism Department for the 12th Five-Year Plan period 2012-2017. A grant of Rs. 18980 lakh was sanctioned for information and broadcasting and Rs. 15000 lakh as Central Share in construction of tourism infrastructure.

The cabinet accorded sanction for regularisation of construction works made in New Bazaar Market and Bhartipur Market under Jabalpur Municipal Corporation as well as new constructions. There are total 65 shops in Naya Bazaar Market and 32 in Bhartipur Market.

The cabinet decided to withdraw 10 percent pension for five years of retired engineer Shri Avdhesh Kumar Verma due to irregularities during his posting as executive engineer Public Works Department at Bhind.

Similarly, 10 percent pension of Assistant Conservator of Forests Shri S.R. Parte permanently due to irregularities committed by him in plantation work while he was posted as Deputy Divisional Forest Officer, Baihar, North Balaghat General Forest Division from April 15, 2001 to July 31, 2005
