2 new tahsils “Nai Sarai” and “Badauni” created

Bhopal: In exercise of power vested in it by Land Revenue Code 1959, the State Government has created 2 new tahsils including “Nai Sarai” in Ashok Nagar district and “Badauni” in Datia district. New tahsil Nai Sarai will comprise 27 Patwari Halkas and 67 villages. Its headquarters will be Nai Sarai. Similarly, tahsil Badauni will comprise 36 Patwari Halkas and 78 villages. Its headquarters will be Badauni.

Tahsil Nai Sarai
Tahsil Nai Sarai in Ashok Nagar district has been created by excluding revenue circle Nai Sarai’s Patwari Halka from 1 to 17 and Patwari Halkas from 22 to 24 from tahsils Isagarh and Shahdora’s borders and Patwari Halkas 68 and 69 of Saraskheri revenue circle of tahsil Isagarh and Patwari Halka number 1 to 5 of Shahdora revenue circle of Shahdora tahsil.
Tahsil Badauni
Tahsil Badauni in Datia district has been created by excluding Patwari Halk no. 19 of Badauni revenue circle in Datia district’s border and Patwari Halka 17 of Bilhari Khurd revenue circle and including Patwari Halka 19 of Badauni revenue circle and Patwari Halka 17 of Bilhari Khurd revenue circle.
