Hindi Katha to be staged on Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that dance-drama Ath Hindi Katha will be staged again on Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day on November 1. He stated this while felicitating co-ordinator of the dance-drama Sushri Maitreyi Pahari at Cultural Evening on the second day of 10th Vishwa Hindi Sammelan here today.
The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh has every colour of culture. Its artistes posses immense talent. Impressed by presentation of Ath Hindi Katha, he said that this is unique and beyond imagination depiction of entire India’s story. He said that it would be unbelievable for those who do not watch it. He said that he felicitates artistes on behalf of 7.50 crore people of the state.
Minister of State for External Affairs Gen. V.K. Singh said that Ath Hindi Katha should be staged in various parts of the country. Minister of State for Culture Shri Surendra Patwa said that efforts are being made to present all colours of culture in the state.
Ath Hindi Katha is a dance-drama is based on writings of eminent writers of various eras since emergence of language in India. As many as 200 artistes participated in it.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan hosted a dinner to entire participants of Vishwa Hindi Sammelan.
