Administrative approval of Rs 614 crore 53 lakh for Sevarkhedi-Silarkhedi project to keep Kshipra river clean and flowing
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav chaired meeting of the Council of Ministers was held in the Mantralaya. The Cabinet decided to construct the Sevarkhedi-Silarkhedi project with Rs 614 crore 53 lakh. According to the decision, the water storage capacity of the reservoir will be enhanced by raising the height of the Silarkhedi reservoir. Irrigation facility will be available in 18 thousand 800 hectares of area of about 65 villages by keeping the Kshipra river clean and flowing with the water stored in the project by storing water in the Chitavad mega project.
Revised administrative approval to irrigate the remaining command area of Dokrikheda reservoir by lifting water from Pipariya branch canal through pressurized micro irrigation system
The Cabinet has given revised administrative approval of Rs. 49 crore 94 lakhs and catchment area of 2940 hectares for micro irrigation system by lifting water from Pipariya branch canal to the remaining command area of Dokrikheda reservoir of Narmadapuram district. After lining of Pipariya branch canal, the catchment area of the project will be increased from 2000 hectares to use the remaining water and Rabi irrigation facility will be provided in 2940 hectares area of total 12 villages.
Approval to provide special package of Rs. 30 crore 52 lakhs for the difference in the compensation amount received by the farmers of village Jamodi
The Cabinet approved to provide special package of the difference in the compensation amount received by the farmers of village Jamodi due to lower collector guideline of the land of the affected village Jamodi under the establishment of Multi Model Logistics Park in Tehsil Pithampur, District Dhar under Bharatmala Project. As per the approval, a special package of Rs. 30 crore 52 lakhs will be given to provide double compensation for 63.581 hectares of land at the rate of Rs. 24 lakh per hectare for all the 85 landholders of village Jamodi due to lower collector guideline of the land compared to the land of other villages and the burden of Rs. 15 crore 26 lakhs (50 percent of Rs. 30 crore 52 lakhs) will be borne by the state government. If in future, any additional financial burden arises in any other item like interest etc. apart from the special package, it will be borne equally by MPIDC Ltd. and NHLML.
Decision to create Directorate of Public Health and Medical Education and creation of new posts
The Cabinet has approved to surrender a total of 36 posts of the Public Health and Medical Education Department, create a total of 18 new posts (01 post of Director, 03 posts of Senior Joint Director, 08 posts of Deputy Director and 06 posts of Assistant Director) and create ‘Directorate of Public Health and Medical Education’ by merging a total of 636 posts of Directorate of Medical Education and Directorate of Health Services offices.
Approval to transfer District Hospital to Medical College, Sagar
The Council of Ministers has approved the merger of District Hospital and Medical College Hospital for increasing PG and UG seats in Medical College Sagar. Approval was given for the medical cadre to be accommodated in the medical college as per eligibility and available vacancies and those doctors who cannot be accommodated, to be transferred to other institutions of the department. Approval was given for adjustment of non-medical cadre on the consolidated post available in the concerned medical education college and associated hospital and in case of non-availability of the above, to be transferred to other institutions of the department.
