All development works to be implemented on priority: CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that all development works in the state will be carried out on priority. Shri Chouhan was inaugurated recently constructed office of the Additional Collector and ASP at Mauganj today. He said that now people of Mauganj will not have to travel to Rewa to get their works done. He also assured to give district status to Mauganj in future.
Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh has joined list of developed state following multi-dimensional development in the state during last 10 years. Loans at zero percent on one hand and additional bonus on support price of wheat are being provided to farmers to make agriculture a profitable occupation in the state. He said that Rs. 150 per quintal bonus on paddy will also be given to farmers.
Shri Chouhan said that people in the state are getting power for 24 hours. Farmers will not have to pay electricity bills on the basis of meter, but only Rs. 1200 per horsepower per annum. Besides, electricity bills due on BPL families as on June 30 have also been waived. Pattas of land occupied by forest dwellers for years are being provided to them under Forest Rights Act. Free medicines are being provided in government hospitals. He said that school children are also being provided free text-books, cycles, dresses etc. Shri Chouhan informed that the State Government is taking guarantee on loans under Higher Education Loan Scheme. Last year, jobs were provided to 5 lakh people and Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana has been implemented for enabling youths to set up their own industries.
