Ban lifted on transfers of government employees in MP from today and would be continued till June 30

In Madhya Pradesh, transfers can be made from Thursday. In the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday, it has been decided that from June 15 to June 30, transfers within the district will be possible with the approval of the minister in charge. CM’s approval will be required for transfers outside the district and departments. According to the transfer policy, no more than 10 percent transfers will be made in the cadre from 201 to 2000. While there will be no transfer of more than 20 percent in any category.
Transfer Policy has been issued as per General Administration Department. According to that, the district will be transferred with the approval of the minister in charge. The Department will issue the transfer of the Head of Department and First Grade Chief Executive Officer in the State cadre with the approval of the CM. The special thing is that in the district where the officer has previously been posted, there will be no posting.
As per the transfer policy, the transfer orders of the Heads of Departments under the State cadre of all departments and Chief Executive Officers of the first grade (by whatever designation they are known) posted in Government undertakings and institutions shall be issued by the Administrative Department in coordination with the approval of the Chief Minister. The transfer of all the rest of the first-class officers, second and class three officers-employees of the state cadre (except intra-district transfers) will be issued by the administrative department after the approval of the Chief Minister.
Under the policy, 20 percent will be transferred in the cadre of 200 employees, 10 percent if the number is 201 to 2 thousand and 5 percent if the number is more than 2 thousand. An employee can apply in case of serious illness, physical or mental disability. Employees can be transferred if very serious complaints, serious irregularities or negligence are proved. However, the administrative department can do the transfer of Class IV employees.
The Police Establishment Board will decide the intra-district transfer of police officers and employees below Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). The Superintendent of Police within the district will issue orders after the approval of the Minister-in-charge. The transfer of DSP and police officers senior to him will be done in coordination with the approval of the Chief Minister after approval of the Divisional Minister as per the guidelines of the Establishment Board.
The appointment of officers of the State Administrative Service will be done by the General Administration Department after the approval of the Chief Minister. Deputy Collectors, Joint Collectors within the district may be appointed in sub-divisions by the Collector after consultation with the Minister in-charge.
Dialysis due to serious diseases like cancer, kidney failure, open heart surgery due to regular examination is necessary and if the district where he is posted does not have this facility, he can be transferred on the recommendation of the Medical Board at the request of the Government servant.
Applications for transfer to School Education Department will be taken online. There will be no voluntary transfer in excellent schools, model schools and CM Rise schools, and voluntary transfer applications for the posts of Principal, Assistant Director and above will be taken online, but they can be resolved offline as well.
In the new education policy, once a voluntary transfer has taken place, it cannot be transferred for 3 years, barring special circumstances. It will be ensured that no school becomes without a teacher. Transfer of first grade officers will be coordinated with the approval of the Chief Minister.
