Better Network and Security at Pt Khushilal Sharma Ayurveda College
A raft of upgrades were cleared at the meeting

Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh on Thursday ordered the installation of network towers at Pt Khushilal Sharma Government Ayurveda College to improve connectivity. He also directed the development of a master plan, a sports complex, and enhanced security measures, including CCTV cameras, wall fencing, streetlights, and a common control room.
Chairing the college’s executive committee meeting, Singh discussed key issues with ADM Siddharth Jain, Principal Umesh Shukla, Unani College Principal Mehmooda Begum, and other officials. The discussions focused on improving student facilities, security arrangements, and campus infrastructure upgrades.
For students’ overall development, Singh reviewed the proposal for an indoor sports complex and instructed officials to ensure it meets all modern standards. He also approved QR-coded labeling of medicinal plants in the campus’s herbal garden, enhancing academic and research opportunities.
To strengthen security, Singh proposed hiring a chief security officer from the Sainik Welfare Board. He instructed officials to draft a comprehensive security plan covering CCTV installation, wall fencing, and a common control room, to be presented in the next meeting.
Additionally, Singh approved purchasing daily-use cleaning supplies for the college, hospital, girls’ hostel, and auditorium. He also sanctioned the procurement of a water cooler with RO for the hostel and air coolers for the hospital.
