Bhopal Shahar Qazi Abdul Lateef Passes Away

BHOPAL —  Eminent Islamic scholar and Bhopal Shahar Qazi Abdul Lateef Khan Qasmi breathed his last in the wee hours of Sunday, said sources.

Qasmi, an alumnus of the renowned Dar-ul-Uloom, Deoband, was 63.

He is survived by his wife, three sons and six daughters.

The Namaaz-e-Janaaza will be performed at the Lal Parade Ground before he is laid to rest at the Jhada Kabristan in the Jehangirabad area of the state capital at around 2pm this afternoon.
