BSP’s show of strength on Dalit-Tribal oppression in Bhopal, headed by Mayawati’s nephew, Akash Anand

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) performed a show of strength in Bhopal on Wednesday. Party’s National Coordinator Akash Anand also attended. Akash is the nephew of former Uttar Pradesh CM Mayawati. Under the leadership of Akash, BSP workers left for Raj Bhavan from Ambedkar Maidan. MLA Rambai from Patharia also accompanied. Workers gathered from all over the state. BSP workers left to surround the Raj Bhavan. Police stopped by placing barricades near TT Nagar.

BSP’s National Coordinator Akash Anand reached the Raj Bhavan and reached Ambedkar Maidan located at the second stop of Bhopal.

The program was addressed by MP’s state in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Gautam. Referring to the incidents of oppression of tribals, Dalits and other classes across the state, Gautam surrounded the Shivraj government.

Gautam claimed that next time the BSP flag will be hoisted in the assembly of Madhya Pradesh. After Gautam, Akash Anand welcomed the workers from all over the state, Akash talked about laying siege to the Raj Bhavan after this, along with the BSP workers, marched towards the Raj Bhavan. But the police barricaded them in TT Nagar and stopped them and BSP leaders handed over the memorandum to the officers to the Governor.

BSP state president Ramakant Pippal said, ‘Today, on the occasion of World Tribal Day, there was a protest against injustice and atrocities against the tribal class and other oppressed classes. The BJP has been ruling Madhya Pradesh for 18 consecutive years. Injustice and atrocities are being committed on tribals, dalits, backward and minorities and they are not being heard.
