Chief Secretary reviewed presentations for Global Investors Summit

Bhopal: Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram reviewed the Sectoral presentations to be made during the proposed Global Investors Summit at Indore (October 28 to 30) at a meeting at Mantralaya here today. The Chief Secretary said that all the Sectoral presentations must apprise the investors of immense investment potential in specific sector.
At the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary Commerce, Industries and Employment Shri P.K Dash informed that preparations for the summit have been completed. On the first and second day of the summit, concerning departments’ Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries will give presentations on investment potential in the urban administration, infrastructural development, health services, new & renewable energy, engineering & automobile, information technology, warehousing & logistics, textile, agri business & food processing and tourism sectors.
It is noteworthy that study of potential in various sectors has been conducted to bring about prosperity by promoting industries and increasing employment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh. The State Government has taken up the responsibility of making investors aware of investment opportunities in new sectors. The Industrial Promotion Policy and other new amended policies will help increase pace of integrated economic development in Madhya Pradesh.
A special exhibition will also be put up at the event’s venue at Labhganga Ground, Indore. The exhibition will focus on Madhya Pradesh’s all-round development. On the first day of the summit, a workshop of small entrepreneurs has also been planned.
