CM directs Commissioner and Collectors to distribute ration by 7th of every month

Bhopal: Chief Minster Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors to ensure special arrangements for distribution of food grains under Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana in view of increasing number of beneficiaries. Ration should be distributed by 7th of every month.
He said that benefit of this scheme will also be provided to beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Mazdorr Suraksha Yojana, Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, destitute and disabled persons in rural and urban areas and handcart and rickshaw pullers.
The Chief Minister also told them to give priority to include their names. Beneficiary convention under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana will be held at Bhopal on August 26.Chouhan was holding discussions with Divisional Commissioners and district collects during Samadhan Online Programme at Mantralaya here on Tuesday.
Describing Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Free Medicine Distribution Scheme as effective, the Chief Minister directed Collectors to keep constant watch over its implementation and ensure stock of medicines at hospitals. Every patient visiting hospital should get free medicines. There is no shortage of funds for medicines.
The Chief Minister said that camps should be held for distribution of residential land pattas to the poor in urban and rural areas. Stressing need for immediate repair of roads damaged by excessive rains this year, he said that repair works should be started soon after monsoon season.
Directing Collectors for inspecting Government hostels in districts, the Chief Minister asked them to ensure repairs wherever necessary.
Chouhan informed that State-level beneficiary convention under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana will be held at Bhopal on August 26. Beneficiaries from all divisions of the state will participate in it. Meanwhile, state-level job fairs will also be held. Chouhan said that farmers should be advised to use maximum quantity of fertilisers so that fertilisers can be stored in adequate quantity for Rabi season. Regarding law and order, the Chief Minister directed SPs and IGs to ensure peace and harmony on festivals like Id, Ganesh Chaturthi, Raksha Bandhan etc.
He said that strict action should be taken against the people who try to disturb peace and harmony.
