CM gives Directives to encourage Cashless Transactions
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave directives to encourage cashless transactions as maximum in order to promote digital economy. Shri Chouhan reviewed the preparations made regarding cashless transactions at Mantralaya today.
It is informed in the meeting that the decision to waive off 14 percent Vat and 2 percent entry tax on purchase of P.O.S. machines has been taken. Shri Chouhan said that deliberations will be made with the union government to expand net connectivity for smooth cashless transactions.
Minister for Finance Shri Jayat Mallayya informed that preparations are being made to give demonstration based training. All the officers-employees will participate in it. He also discussed about the online deposit of academic fee. CM Shri Chouhan said that it will be implemented in phases. Chief Secretary Shri B.P. Singh and senior officers were present.
