CM Invites Industrialists to MP Global Investors’ Summit
Bhopal — Concluding the second leg of his three-nation tour, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan extended an invitation to all industrialists and representatives of industry groups to attend the Global Investors Summit – II, at Khajuraho on October 22 and 23 this year.
Earlier, the chief minister addressed an Industry Interaction Session, organised in Amsterdam, along with Industry Minister Kailash Vijayavargiya.
In his address, Vijayavargiya underscored the investment possibilities and opportunities available in the state, he added that this year’s Global Investors Summit would be focused primarily on agriculture and food processing industries.
Ashwini Arora, director Dawat Foods, and Girish Matlani MD Sonik Biochem Extraction also made presentations on the occasion.
Making a detailed presentation, Additional Chief Secretary (Industry) Satyaprakash underlined the esentation explaining the industry policy of the state,
Some 60 industrialists, investors and their representatives from across The Netherlands attended the Session. Indian Ambassador to The Netherlands Manbir Singh was also prevent attended the session.
One-to-One meeting with CM
Following the conclusion of the session Chouhan interacted with several industrialists interested in investing in Madhya Pradesh.
The Madhya Pradesh delegation led by Chief Minister Chouhan includes Industries Minister Kailash Vijayavargiya, senior state government officers, Birla Corporation Chairman Harsh Lodha, Director of Dawat Foods Sudhir Mehta, Chairman of Trident Group Rajinder Gupta, Managing Director of Hydelberg Cement India Ashish Guha, Managing Director of Sonic Biochem Extractions Girish Matlani, Director of Haldiram Group Kamal Agrawal, Managing Director, BLA Industries Anoop Agarwala, and Vice President of Jaiprakash Associates Henry Christopher.
The delegation left Amsterdam for Rome Thursday evening.
