CM issues orders to remove SP Dindori with immediate effect in Juwania Missionary hostel incident
Taking major action on the day of Holi, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has issued orders to remove the SP of Dindori. Now the new Superintendent of Police has also been appointed. After SP Sanjay Singh, Sanjeev Kumar Sinha has been made the SP who was AIG at State Police Headquarters.
National Child Commission had expressed strong objection to the incident of molestation and sexual exploitation of girl students studying in JDES School in Junwani of Amarpur development block of the district. In view of the incident of sexual exploitation of school girls, Dindori Superintendent of Police Sanjay Singh has been posted as Assistant Inspector General at State Police Headquarters, Bhopal.
A case of sexual abuse surfaced at missionary school of Junwani. The principal has been arrested after a case was registered with the police. Although later he was also released. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan objected to this matter and on Wednesday issued orders to remove Sanjay Singh from the post.
It is noteworthy that since the matter came to light, the Superintendent of Police was constantly trying to save the pastor and the principal and other accused.
Principal Nan Singh Yadav was arrested for the second time after the pressure increased in this case. Still three accused are absconding.
Samanpur police station in-charge Vijay Patle was suspended on Tuesday. In this sensitive matter it was not possible that any police station in-charge could act without taking a decision from his own level. With the consent of the Superintendent, he would have released the main accused from the police station itself.
Similarly, in the One Stop Center where the victim girl students were stopped, Gondwana leaders creating nuisance, taking officers hostage in Junwani School, threatening the chairman of the Child Protection Committee and other cases including the inaction by the police is also serious.
